James Rigby MRTPI, Globe’s Principal Consultant who has been with the company since 2004 was the automatic choice to fill our vacancy for an Associate. James already leads projects for a wide range of our clients as has been actively involved in most of our major projects for the last three years. We were pleased to offer James a very well deserved promotion within the company and he will now be working in parallel with our existing Associate Lynette Swinburne MRTPI, with both managing our consultants and project teams.
The vacancy James has filled was created when Andy Booth MRTPI, who must be one of the best known planners in the region, recently took the decision that he wanted to return to the dark side and re-joined the public sector after nearly 10 years as a consultant.
Andy left us last week to join East Lindsey District Council as their Major Projects Officer. We wish him all the best and hope to bring him some challenging applications as soon as possible.
This month we have also appointed a new consultant Rhiannon Wilson BSc who will be joining the team in July. We expect that Rhiannon, who is a geography graduate, will progress to a masters in planning and chartered RTPI membership in due course following in the footsteps of her new colleagues.
Great times ahead with a great team.
