We recently finished one of our more unusual business plans, this time for the restoration of the octagonal, Grade 1 listed Sneath’s Mill at Long Sutton. The mill, which still contains its original timber cogs and workings is being restored by Sneath’s Mill Trust who acquired the freehold in 2008.
The Trust are now seeking HLF funding to complete the restoration and develop visitor facilities and workshops on the site. After a short interview the Trustees commissioned Globe to prepare a business plan for the future use of the Mill as a heritage visitor attraction. With a limited budget available to the Trust we agreed a very focused brief supported by a modest amount of pro-bono input to give the Trust the range of information they needed to inform their HLF bid.
The Trust have been kind enough to make some very positive comments about the final business plan report and we hope that it will play a key role in their HLF funding application.
The Trust posted the following testimonial on our customer services link.
“Globe have done a great job for us, they kept us informed every step of the way and could not have done more to make sure we understood every detail of our Business Plan. I cannot believe the quality of service we have received. A big thanks from all the team at Sneath’s Mill.
What can we say just Excellent service and sound advice”.
