January 2017 will see Venezia Ross-Gilmore MRTPI CIHT joining Globe Consultants as a Principal Consultant.
In addition to her Chartered Town Planner status, Venezia is an experienced transport planner and a member of the Chartered Institute of Highways and Transport. With around 10 years’ experience of planning work in the private sector Venezia’s skill set further extends the capability of the Globe team and creates some interesting new opportunities for the business. Venezia will be leading on development projects and building on her planning experience through the sort of challenging planning work the Globe has become known for. Venezia will be the first member of the team to have direct experience of transport planning so we will also be able to bring some aspects of that work in house, and of course share it with our other chartered planners to widen and strengthen the skills set we to offer clients.
Sadly, in the same month that Venezia joins us, Lynette Swinburne MRTPI will be leaving Globe Consultants after more than 10 years with the business. Lynette is moving on to head up a new east midlands rural planning team for Savills.
Lynette was part of the initial team that set up Globe Regeneration in 2006. I originally recruited Lynette as Project Manager for the Historic Lincoln Partnership about a year before I was approached about setting up Globe. Given her success with the Partnership and MRTPI status she was a natural choice to join the start-up team and it’s been a real pleasure working with her since then. We all wish her success in her new job.
