Residential Development, Drury Lane, Lincoln
The client had recently acquired the adjoining single storey property, previously a holiday let, and wished to amalgamate this with their home, creating a single dwelling. Additionally, they proposed to extend the single storey part at ground level, as well as creating a first floor and balcony.
Globe worked alongside Architect Neil Cawley, and Lindsey tree services, to provide the necessary supporting information for the application. The site presented its own challenges due its conservation area status, and its proximity to a number of listed buildings, however these were overcome and suitable measures were taken to enable the development to proceed.
Full planning permission was granted for the development, which will provide the clients with a substantially improved home that will enable a comfortable residence. Creating a more cohesive feel on the site by combining the two buildings will create a greater sense of community on the lane.
