On 1 May 2013 a new fund was opened by the government specifically targeted at local communities preparing Neighbourhood Plans.
The fund is entitled “Supporting Communities in Neighbourhood Planning 2013-15” and enables Town/Parish Councils or Neighbourhood Forums to apply for up to £7,000 to cover the costs related to the preparation of a Neighbourhood Plan or Order.
This fund can be used to help communities directly or to assist in covering the costs of professional fees of organisations such as Globe who are able to provide advice and input into the preparation of a Neighbourhood Plan.
