Globe Associates Lynette Swinburne and Andy Booth have recently delivered the final planning training session in the 2013 programme on behalf of the Lincolnshire Association of Local Councils(LALC). The sessions, which are intended for Town and Parish Councillors in the country include an introduction to the planning system, legislation and if/how to prepare a Neighbourhood Plan.
Over the year, the training has been attended by over 60 representatives from more than 25 town and parish councils.
Saxilby Neighbourhood Plan
Globe are pleased to announce that they have been appointed by Saxilby with Ingleby Parish Council to work with them to support and assist in the preparation of their Neighbourhood Plan.
Saxilby with Ingleby were one of 108 communities awarded ‘frontrunner’ status by the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) in March 2012. This status is accompanied by funding from the DCLG which is to be used by the Parish Council to work up a Neighbourhood Plan and test the principles of the system.
We look forward to working with the community of Saxilby to identify the priorities and aspirations for the future of the area and help them to throughout the process of preparing this important planning document.
