The purpose of the project is to help the clusters develop through a series of events and resources, as well as the project team providing specialist business support to a number of businesses.
We are inviting digital business to take part in a number of free events and activities held between January 2012 and September 2013, and the first two of these have now been confirmed as 24th January 2012 at Oak House, Lincoln and on 8th February in Fairfield Enterprise Centre in Louth.
If you are a digital business please do register your interest and we will keep you up to date with the project as it progresses, as well as sending invitations to upcoming events. You can also join the LinkedIn group here, where we will be posting updates, and I will of course be blogging about the project as it progresses.
The project focuses on SME businesses that operate from Lincoln, East Lindsey and Boston, and we will be holding events in each of the districts. You can view the planned schedule of events schedule of events. We want the program to be as responsive as possible, so exact times and dates may be subject to change as the project progresses.
If you would like to know more about the project, please drop me a line at email@example.com or dd 01522 563514.
The project which is jointly funded by Lincolnshire County Council and ERDF (European Regeneration Development Fund) is part of a larger programme of activities within the county called Online Revolution.
This programme is to ensure that local businesses take full advantage of the opportunities brought about by digital technologies and to overcome any knowledge or capacity gaps. This programme has a number of aligned projects and also includes a recently announced commitment of £25m to improve broadband speeds and connectivity across Lincolnshire.
