Lincolnshire Creative Network (LCN) kicked off yesterday with the launch of its website and some great coverage in the Lincolnshire Business Echo.
Visit www.createlincs.co.uk and join the Network.
I’ve been co-ordinating a group of founding Members focused on 26 Westgate for several months now as the LCN grew from idea to reality so it was an exciting moment when it all went live on Thursday morning and took its first step towards establishing a focused creative industries network owned, managed and delivered by creative industry businesses.
Some interesting ideas have already emerged from the members, including the decision to launch without a brand in order to allow the Network Members take part in a design competition to brand the network. We are bringing together a panel of nationally renown judges to select the winning design. You can find out more about the competition on the LCN website.
LCN’s got some big ambitions and exciting plans so it you are a creative enterprise in Lincolnshire, North Lincolnshire or North East Lincolnshire take a look at www.createlincs.co.uk .
The LCN is a not-for-profit organisation and all of its development has been undertaken by the founding partners; Culture Partners, Design By Distraction, Globe Consultants, Lincolnshire Media and Place Architecture on a voluntary basis.
