The Lincolnite has run a great article today about the £12 million grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund to refurbish Lincoln Castle.
A truly good news story that reflects the effort that County staff have put into making this a reality and the level of sustained political commitment that has been shown to the project over the last decade.
The Castle Project is close to the hearts of the team here at Globe, partly because the castle walls are just outside of our front door but also because this was one of the last pieces of work that Lynette and Russell were involved in before leaving the County Council to set up Globe. The team that took the work forward have done a fantastic job, we sent them our congratulations and look forward to visiting the new facilities as well as being able spend our lunch times enjoying the Castle grounds.
