Globe’s 10th Anniversary Celebration brought over 100 people to the Ritz Cinema in Lincoln to mark our first decade.
A mix of clients, professional colleagues, family and friends joined the team for an evening which kicked of with local band Square Bears and drinks from the only bar I’ve ever seen with an autographed Tardis in the corner.
Our aim was to have a fun evening and offer our guests an informal and unusual event with a positive community flavour. The volunteer restored and run Art Deco Ritz Cinema was an ideal venue and as we progressed through sweets, popcorn, hotdogs, nachos, ice creams and a screening of the Da Vinci Code (which was released in the year we started and was partly filmed in Lincoln Cathedral) we knew we’d pitched it about right. From the comments on the night and since, so did our guests. We said our thank-yous at the Ritz but it’s worth repeating our thanks to all our guests for such a memorable evening, to Pete and his team at the Ritz and to our staff and in particular our business manager Lizzy who pulled the event together. The pictures don’t do justice to the evening but they are worth a quick look.
